So you have a total of 5" block in rear and you want a total of 3.5" to 4" of block?

I would scrap both and find an F350 block or order a 4". There are a few suggested places to order them from members here. I am going with Newton's here soon!

yes I have a total of 5' in the rear I want to drop down a inch or so. I just went out side to see if the rear blocks are tapered I belive they are rear of the block reads 3inchs and front of it reads little less then three so I take it there tapered..

I believe they are. If you check out Newtonlifts.com/store you can scroll to the right and find 'blocks' and they block kits for 99-07 and you specify what you drive and how tall you want. 140.00 for the 4" I am looking at. Free shipping.

is it okay to take the stock 2inch block out and put a single 4inch in its place beside stacking a 2inch on top of a 2inch???

Its not good practice to stack lift blocks. Just order a 4" block and preferably use new U-bolts.
