rear lift ???

Hey guys i have a 06 f250 reg cab long bed 4x4 6.0 i have a 6inch rc lift on the truck. The rear lift is a three inch block ontop of the factory 2inch. My question is i want to drop the rear down some can i just take the 3inch block that came in the kit and put a 1.5 or 2 inch block and bolt it back up???? I dont see why i couldent but asking you guys first

So you have a total of 5" block in rear and you want a total of 3.5" to 4" of block?

I would scrap both and find an F350 block or order a 4". There are a few suggested places to order them from members here. I am going with Newton's here soon!

yes I have a total of 5' in the rear I want to drop down a inch or so. I just went out side to see if the rear blocks are tapered I belive they are rear of the block reads 3inchs and front of it reads little less then three so I take it there tapered..

I believe they are. If you check out Newtonlifts.com/store you can scroll to the right and find 'blocks' and they block kits for 99-07 and you specify what you drive and how tall you want. 140.00 for the 4" I am looking at. Free shipping.

I see they sell 16inch ubolts is that factory sice i have the ones on it from 6inch lift kit but i cut them down think i need get some new ubolts

is it okay to take the stock 2inch block out and put a single 4inch in its place beside stacking a 2inch on top of a 2inch???

Its not good practice to stack lift blocks. Just order a 4" block and preferably use new U-bolts.

so I went to a local 4x4 shop today to pick up set of 4inch tapered blocks. my blocks that are on the truck now are tapered and they wanted to sell me a non tapered...I don't see why id switch them to a non tapered so I went head an got the tapered ones.. how much are they suppost to be off the 4inch blocks I just got read 4inch and 3 1/2
