Whats the difference between the hydro and nitro shocks? Which gives a better ride?

I have em. My truck is not lifted enough so they aren't the greatest ride. They are too long.

What part numbers are you running of the 5100s? They make stock replacements, 1-3" of lift, 3-6" of lift, etc..

I have the hyrdo's on my jeep and its a better ride over stock. Spend the few extra bucks and get the gas shocks

Yep, those are too long for your 2.5" shackle.
