Fabtech for the King

I took my new truck to a local 4x4 shop to see about a 6 inch lift. Great guys to deal with and very helpful to a 4x4 noob like me. Anyway he told me to go with a fabtech kit comprised of springs in the front and blocks in the rear. Considering I am not really do any heavy hauling at this point and was not planning on actually doing any mudding he said the kit is good enough. Also he mentioned the stabilizer and pitman arm being included in the price. He offered to spend more of my money but said he didnt think I needed anything more elaborate.

What concerns me is it seems a little too simple to me. The entire kit with installation is a just a hair over $2000.00 Looking online at other kits, I see springs, shocks and all kinds of other parts in other kits. Does anybody have any experience with a setup like this and would they recommend this route?

The Fabtech kit is a good on road lift kit. If I was gonnna go any higher I would get a Camburg kit with Kings.

Make sure it has radius arms for that price. I have the same lift for sale in the for sale forums for less than half of that.

dlonno I see your lift on e-bay. Looks like it would go for about half of what I am about to pay. The issue I have is I don't want to do the lift myself and I don't want to walk back into their shop with parts I bought elsewhere. I will bring up the radius arms and shocks though. He didnt say anything about shocks but if its getting springs I assume they are taller? and thus would require different shocks??

I guess first off, let everyone know the price range u want to stay in, then people will chime in with where u can/should go on the kit. 2k with install, then it was probably the radius arm drop kit, and not the one with the new radius arms. If you are the least bit mechanical or have some buddies who are u could look at installing yourself and saving a good deal of cash as well.
