Personally, I'd go with Icon, Rize, RCD, or BDS over the Fabtech. They all offer 6-7" lifts for the 2008 SD.

Regardless of brand, be sure to use a quality shock like an Icon or Bilstein 5100.

2000 to 2500 is what I am willing to pay. Yes I recall now it was with the radius arm drop kit not new arms. I was looking to get someone else to do it simply
because I didn't want the hassle and I wanted it done right.

Looking around it looks like I can get the 08 Ford Superduty Fabtech 6" Radius Arm System w/ Coil Springs and their shock upgrade for around $2500 retail. It might be worth me doing the install myself to get the upgraded kit versus paying someone else to do it and getting only the basic system. It was mentioned I should go with Icon or Bilstein shocks. Looking around I see there are different lengths and/or diameters. How do I know which ones I will need for the 6" lift?

Overkill, out of the kits you recommend can you list them in order in terms of quality and past installation experience? I don't want to buy a cheap kit. I want quality parts.

The Icon system would be the highest quality. The BDS and RCD are 4-link kits and comparable in quality. I would give the BDS an edge just based on the rear (the standard RCD system sits a little low in the rear). The Rize would be the least expensive.

Those are all high quality lifts. I would go with the 4-link kits. I think they are better than straight radius arms.

dlonno, thats what I am beginning to think as I read other posts and reviews. You are better off with a 4 link kit.

Not to complicate things but we could do the BDS 4-link system with Icon 7" coils and shocks. That would give you the best of both worlds.

Yea I was looking at your site with the BDS kit in mind but thinking it was recommended I go with Bilstein or Icon shocks. So mixing and matching may be a better alternative. I see BDS has free shipping to my distributor. Does that help in cost any? I see its going to cost about $250 to ship to me here in Florida using your site calculator.
