lift

i have a 2006 ford f250 with 8in. lift with 38s. And i want to lift it so it will fit 40s. what is the cheapest way i could lift it?

what brand lift do you have... is it a 6" springs up front with 2" hangers?

you could always just get some cut out fenders and not have to lift it anymore to fit the 40's

2006 so its a coil spring front end you could get a 2 inch leveling kit (coil spacer) and that should do the trick

I agree with needing to know what brand and type of lift you have on your 06.


Also, which 40s are you looking to run?


A adjustable 4-link is the way to go at that height, IMO.

yup no hanger kits up front

i agree with big.. you can just add a simple spacer

i know its not cheap but a 3" body lift would be bad azz. cost me $1100 to do my old rig. this was a 8" lift and 3" body but i only ran 38's. could have fit 40's

Personally I would just add a 2.5" spacer and either an AAL or taller block in the rear....clearing 40's easy.


Probably need new shocks.....as MOST 8" shocks are actually 6-8" lift shocks.....
