Truck wandering? Try this...
A guy I know told me that if my steering seems to be wandering on the highway alot, just remove the factory steering stabilizer. So I figured, why not?
Well, it's been 3 days of driving now and she drives straight like a champ! This just seems way too good to be true. maybe i'm just losing it as I get older, but I feel like there is a big difference is on smooth highways. If you've got a 99-04 with the factory stabilizer and your truck wanders, give it a try and let me know! |

Well I have an 06 and my truck wanders and wants to pull fairly hard to the left. Been in for wheel alignments 3 times, new ball joints and 2 new after market steering stabilizers. I did notice that the factory stabilizer is shot so I will be replacing that next week. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to check.
