2000 7.3 PS/ Brake Whine After New Pump

Noticed a very loud whine in my steering. Also difficult to turn when not moving, the brake pedal is somewhat soft and makes the whine louder when depressed. Just replaced PS Pump no change what so ever. HydroBoost system problem??

The system requires ATF i hope thats what you put in.

you might have some air still in the system as well.

next time i flush my power steering im putting synthetic ATF in, cuts down on noise even more and just makes the pump perform better.
