Track Bar Snapped!

Iv got an 02 f350 with a 2" leveling kit I put on a couple months ago. I'm guessing within the past week or so my front track bar snapped in the middle. My question is Is it ok to drive it for a short period of time before I get a new adjustable one? Iv heard of ppl removing it completely and God only knows how long IV been driving it like this and I haven't noticed any change in the handling.

You're ok to drive it for a little while but don't go crazy. I'm surprised you dont' notice a difference. I drove like that on one of my trucks for 2 days and it felt like the cab was floating side to side whenever I slightly turned, especially at speed.

Its fine. Your 02 has leaf springs which dont need a track bar to handle properly. The track bar is there just to increase handling slightly. On a coil spring suspension the track bar is needed to center the axle but on an 02 the leafs center it naturally
