you will def need a pit arm puller... you can rent them from your local autoparts store or you can buy one... they are in the 20.00+ range if you want to buy them....

the ie rod separator thing youll need looks like a big Fork lol.... you may or may not need it.... but they are pretty cheap too..

Check with Top Gunz Custom, Their out of Tenn. You can find their online store on ebay. Their # is listed so you can call them and speak with a real person. I just ordered shocks from them, with shipping, still cheaper than most. A friend orderred a 6" lift from them months back, cheapest he found. good luck.

Thanks for the information. I am also considering the rough country kit because of the cost and it good to know someone has had good luck with it. Are the shocks decent? And were did you order it from?

Did my 4" with my brother, Don't forget a come-along. I used it to move axle back in place easily. Make sure all the parts r with it, I got a driveshaft shim kit to (xtra) And my center bolts for the rear were to short. U will also need somthing to cut the old center bolt with. and make sure it a kit for a diesel motor truck. this was my second lift kit install.

Still more questions for those who have experience with lift kits. Will either 4'' or 6" lifts need things not included in the kits such as break line extensions?
