Hanger kit
Who is using hangers to lift the front of their truck? How are they holding up? how hard was the install? Post pics please. I was gonna go ahead and lift it 6 inches but decided right now won'tbe a practical time for me to do some (baby is due in 6 weeks
) thanksToddy |

I have a set of 3" shackles and hangers like the ones you see on ebay. The work out great. The only PITA of it is that you have to remove the bumper and have a long cheater bar to get the hangers off. I then added 2" spring packs and dropped pitman arm, sway bar links, and track bar bracket to get a total 5" lift recently. Still working fine and rides like stock. The 3" shackle and hanger could use a track bar relocation bracket though, it threw the front axle about 1" to the drivers side.

Hanger kits if they are made correctly are great but I wouldn't go over a 4.5" kit.
