Front end popping

I have a popping in my front end only during left turns. Put it up on a lift for about 20 minutes today to check the front end. Everything is nice and tight. Anybody have any suggestions or know of common problems. It is an 04' 250.

could be a 4x4 hub. Just swapped my dad's out to warn premiums and the pop stopped. I guess the speed difference between the two tires was causing the auto to try and lock.

I had the same problem. Have you put your truck in 4 wheel drive lately? I think it's not fully disengaged. Lock 4 wheel drive in and move forward and backwards about 10 feet. Then turn off 4 wheel drive and reverse about 10 feet and check to see if popping goes away. This corrected mine. Hope it helps

Track bar bushings most likely..

I have and 04 and mine did the same thing, bought an adjustable track bar with brand new bushings and it stopped.

I had a popping noise in my 03 that drove me crazy. It turned out that when i put my leveling kit on i torqued the track bar bushings to what the leveling kit instructions said (125 Ft. Lbs.) I eventually (thanks to advice from 4 wheel parts ) took off the track bar installed new bushings (almost impossible to find without replacing the whole track bar and even harder to install) and torqued the track bar bolts to roughly 400 ft. lbs and my popping went away. I then did a lot of searching in my ford service manual for my truck and found the 125 ft. lbs. listed in one spot and roughly 400 ft. lbs. listed in another spot. It's a year later after repairs and torquing to 400 and no popping noise. If you have had any suspension mods done in the front recently, take it to a shop and have them torque the track bar bolts to the higher torque (unless you have a 3/4" torque wrench and then you can do it yourself)

Just my thoughts. I replaced my bushings when doing mine though because it took me over a year to figure my popping noise out and i figured the bushings were shot by then. If you want the exact specs for track bar bushing bolt torque, p m me and i will look it up for you.
