leveling kit or lift kit???? half breed 2/99

just got the truck about a month ago... ive been searching and reading with no real answer.... sorry for the newbie question but here it is... I have a half breed 2/99.. E99 suspension , L99 everywhere else..... 295/70/16
-I measured from center of fender well to ground F= 38", R= 43.25" difference of 5.25"
-im just looking to level the truck and run 35's
- I was Told that depending on spring sag I could get more lift than 2.5" with a leveling kit...... lol thanks in advance
