You can't spit out traction blocks....the u-bolts go through the blocks themselves. If you want real strength, upgrade to the 3/4" u-bolts OUO offers. Not to mention the traction bar preventing axle wrap from happening. OUO will soon have just a plain block available (without the traction bar mounts) that the u-bolts will go through and available with the 3/4" u-bolts for guys who don't need the traction bars. As for the whole regular block discussion....I would never stack blocks, and never run a single block larger than 6". On my 01 I run a 1.25" tapered block under my 8" Deavers to rotate my pinion up for my CV driveshaft. |

I am running blocks and I am running spings and I am running drop shackles....the drop shackles are by far the best since they maintain factory ride...the spings are stiff...and I get hella axle wrap but a nice ride with the blocks.....its all in your budget though....if you do it the right way you won't have any issues with any of them
