front drive line swap

so im removing my 8in superlift off my 2004 f350 4dr long bed and pretty sure my front drive line was lengthened... the guy buying my lift has a 2004 4dr short bed f350 can we just swap front drive lines?

im putting a 4in so i should be able to use a stock length one? just double checking before i screw myself and the buyer of my old 8in lift set-up etc..

thanks the techs doing the lift said should work but im little uneasy with them but i didn't really have a choice for distance, times im awake working nights and not a whole lot of room at my current place of residence.

thanks,

A friend had an 8" lift with stock shafts. I'd compare the extended/compressed lengths before removing/swapping shafts.
