need shocks!

i just recently picked up the truck in my sig and it needs shocks. according to the guy i bought it from, it has a pro comp 8" lift, however i can only find the 8.5" kit so idk about that. anyway, i'm looking for a good riding shock as i'm gonna be driving the truck back from the san antonio area to the los angeles area when i get back from deployment. any help would be greatly appreciated.

03 RCLB 4x4 6spd 6.0, GT3788VA, AFE stg 2, deletes, oil cooler, p/p heads/valve guides, ported intake manifold, updated springs, oil o rings and fittings, 58v FICM with mild flash, blue spring upgrade, 6.4 banjo bolts, 155/75 injectors, FASS lp, 3"dp to 5" exhaust, studs, autometer boost, pyro, fuel, 550hp clutch, 8" lift, 37x15 toyo mt's, 485hp/912tq on stock tuning

i bought some cheap skyjackers off ebay. They work from 0-8" lift

hmm i'm looking for a higher end shock. i was looking at the mx-6 adjustables with the remote reservoirs or something along those likes. i-10 can get pretty rough in a few spots lol

I ordered a set of kings for the rear of my truck and the tracking number says that they will be here tomorrow. I'm getting rid of some bilsteins. I'm at 6" of lift and the kings are 14" travel. I have the icon progressive rate leafs and it still rides stiff. I'm curious to see if the ride changes with the kings.
Not sure if you would be interested in the bilsteins they are their yellow shock version.

01 f250 4x4 supercab, 7.3 6" icon leafs all around king 2.5 remote res. 4" straight pipes turbo back, aem intake, 35s on 20" rims, ts 6 position chip edge insight cs monitor for the egts and icps. A pillar boost and trans temp gauges, riff raff billet wheel, banks intercooler, turbo master wastegate controller.
