Lift and Tires

Hi all, I am currently running 35/12.50x20's on my factory FX4 wheels. I do not have a lift but I would like to install a 4 or 6 inch but I want to keep my factory wheels. If I do go with a 4 or 6 inch lift what size tires can I run and keep the factory wheels?

Thanks
Scott

Scott,
you could run a 37x12.50. i've seen a couple of guys run a 37x13.50 on the stock 20's but they rub at full lock. 35's with a 4" lift looks fine. 6" and 37's looks fine too. Remember the factory wheel is only 8" wide. a good rule of thumb is to keep your tire width at most 4"-5" over your wheel width otherwise the sidewall ballons out and looks ridiculous. I'm running a 295/65R20 (35x12R20) Nitto Trail Grapplers on stockers and they fit perfect. If your set on a 37" tire you should keep it in the 12.50 range unless you dont mind the rubbing.

just my 2 cents.
