Loud noise when turning

I recently had my ball joints changed because I was hearing a lound bang whenever I was turning and going up/down a hill at the same time. After installing the new equipment I am still hearing the same noise. Any ideas what I have to start looking for now??

check control arms and and all bushings. especially on the sway bar.. is it like a popping noise once? or is it multiple times?

i can have my friend look at it. I havent had a chance because a relay went out and its at the electrical shop getting worked on.

area42, i have an 04 6.0 and I noticed my leaf spring shackle is VERY close to the exhaust. I can shake the pipe and not hit the shackle but it is so damn close...maybe whilst turning the whole chassis flexes, engine torques and they hit?? mine makes this sound only when turning left under power...if i turn left while coasting no noise. Its impossible to see what its doing but maybe i can "mark" the pipe or shackle and see if the "mark" rubs off on the other part...any ideas on diagnosis? like I said it only makes this groaning noise when turnng left under power... very strange

If u have a 4 inch down pipe your exhaust can hit your leaf spring shackle and it makes a popping/groaning sound at least mine did. I built a grease cylinder like what keeps pressure or skid loader or dozer tracks I hit with grease every time I grease front end...bout every 2-3 weeks it will hold it about a 1/2 to 3/4 away and I haven't heard sound since!! I could just barely see where it was rubbing but I was under one day and I finally spotted it! I'm not real computer savey or I'd send a pic.....

HHHMMM..No popping but groaning and a kinda vibration only when turning left...I wish I could see the "grease cylinder" you built...I would surely try and duplicate it. I am not one to throw parts at something to fix a problem but this sounds promising...could you take a pic and text the pic to me? I could PM you my cell number. and I do have a 4" exhaust down pipe.
