Lift kit questions

Hey all.

Just bought a brand new 2013 f250 super duty with the 6.7 powerstroke. I'm wanting to get a 4 inch lift kit installed and I have a question.

- should I get a 4 link or a standard kit?

I was talking to a shop and they told me that because my truck is new, the springs are good and that I should get a standard kit but upgrade the bds (the lift kit I'm going with) shocks to fox shocks for a better ride.

Do you guys think this is what I should do or should I stick with a 4 link kit that bds makes in 4 inch?

I want the best ride quality possible.

They're also charging about 3000 for installation and the standard kit with fox shocks and I think it was a couple hundred more if I got the 4 link kit with the bds shocks installed. Is this a good price?

I live in Canada...

Thanks!

that is an insane amount for installation of a lift kit, a solid axle kit at that.

It's like 1200 for installation and like 1800 for the standard kit with the updated fox shocks.
