toe-in

I have a 2003 ford 450 with a 7.3 diesel engine and I'm not comfortable with the steering. It's okay on a straightway but seem I always have to adjust on bends. I measured the toe-in and find a half inch difference to the front from rear.

That sounds excessive, you should double check with an alignment shop, but that sounds like a bunch of toe to me.

I believe you only want a little, maybe 1/8th in difference

typically run 1/8" toe-in, that way when traveling, the force straightens it out or slightly forces toe-out.

does your truck dive real fast when turning? it should be very responsive with that much toe-in, but agreed...1/2" is to much.
