Shocking shock. Anyone seen this before?

Put a 1.5 inch level kit on my 2001 F350. Had to have new cambers installed, and shocks. This happened to the right side about a later. Anyone ever seen this happen before. Any clues as to why it happened? The shock was a Monroe gas mag, with a life time warranty. (good thing)

Either the shock was the wrong length for your leveling kit or it was a defective shock.

Did u use longer shocks or shock extenders?? If u did not it looks like the shock over extended and ripped the shaft out of the body.

The other side is still perfect. They are what the shop gave me for yr truck. It's a 2 wheel drive. I think it happened when I had my 5th wheel on. There are some bumpy roads on Hwy 101 here.

I don't have extenders, but do you think it would be a good idea to put some on? IF I can some.. or maybe even stacking up some washers? I didn't think about asking if there were longer shocks for it.

Should I get something like this? I didn't think ahead of time about bringing the front up 2 inches. New to making mods to my truck. Thanks,
