Front Add-A-Leaf Leveling Questions

I just threw some Superlift add-a-leafs in my 02 excursion and it brought the front up about 2.5"-3"... are the add-a-leafs a common way to level the pre-coil spring super duties? I have 2.5" blocks in the rear now and will need to go to a 4" block in the rear to "re-level" the truck. Also, is 3" lift too much for the factory pitman arm? What else should I be concerned with (besides my new bilsteins being maxed out)?

its not too much for the pitman arm but most 3"+ kits come with a new tracbar relocation bracket..... i would get an adjustable trac bar to recenter your front end
