If you are correcting for a suspension lift, a dropped pitman arm would be a better answer.

Well I already have a drop pitman arm but my drag link sleeve broke and front end shop said maybe a longer sleeve would be the way to go. I'm not sure how much of a drop my pitman arm is so you guys might be right maybe that would be a better route.

A 4"-6" pitman arm should work with an 8" lift. Think about it, if you don't need a pitman arm for a 2" leveling kit, then there should be enough give in a 6" pitman arm for an 8" lift. I have some things to do right now, but I can upload a picture of my 4"-6" lift dropped arm later this evening, you may not have a deep enough arm. It's possible that it broke due to stress, you know, normal breakage.

Got it!

I measured from roughly the center of the steering box nut to the drag link ball joint nut and it was 7 inches, this should give you an idea how big (or small) yours is.
