death wobble question

hey guys im new this forum but not to workin on my own cars and trucks and i need a little help on something. so i was driving my 07 PSD 4x4 around the other day kinda hotroding a bit when i noticed what i thought was the dreaded death wobble, it wasnt too bad but made me a bit worried so i checked everything out under there and while a little worn everything looked ok and i plan on troubleshooting for loose spots and getting a new alignment to see if this helps but anyway to my question. ive been looking up the "wobble fix" track bars and theyre all like 500-900 effing dollars! has anyone tried to maybe fabricate their own it seems to only be a regular track bar with some hiem joints instead of bushings that are threaded in so you can adjust it?

I just fixed a bad death wobble with Track bar bushings and drag link. My truck was older than yours however. I would look into seeing if they sell urithane bushings for your year truck, they were a pain to get out but went back in nice.

Just bought!, 1997 F350 CCLB 5 speed manual, For now the only mod is the 4" straight pipe
2002 extended cab long bed 7.3, 3.5" lift with 37x 12.50 Terra Grapplers on 17" Pro Comps, ts 6 pos chip, 05 grille, DIY 6637 air intake, 4" MBRP exhaust with muffler delete, Built trans with PI TC tugger shift kit and suncoast 5 disk drum, custom made one peice drive shaft, Edge CTS

thanx yea i should probably start replacing bushings anyway and maybe thats all it was i guess well see. what year was your truck? im just so curious to see if anyone has been able to home make a successful "anti-wobble" track bar because it really seems like a monopoly that these few companies have and all the hype about how well they work
