Newbie Needs Help :)

Hey everyone

I am super new to owning a truck. I have a 99 F-250 that was purchased from a very older widow. I am looking for as much advice as I can get when it comes to getting the truck lifted. I do not want anything way over the top but how the truck sits now is just way too low in my opinion. I am looking to see how big of a lift I should get and also what brand of kit I should go with? The truck has 16" rims on it now. Should I put a bigger set of tires on these rims or do I need to go with a bigger set of rims like 18"? Any and all advice would be very much appreciated and look forward to spending some time on this forum to learn as much as I can. Thanks all
