Is the stabilizer on the drag link necessary?

This fell off and Iv seen pictures online without it so Idk If its needed. If i take it off Ill put it back later just don't have time to mess with it right now.

For whatever reason, the coil sprung trucks need a stabilizer. I've run 285s, 315s, and 365s on mine without one, but it's a 2003.

If you put one on the tie rod, then no it is not needed on the drag link!

I meant to say tie rod, the stabilizer that is mounted to the tie rod fell off.
