Hello all I had a 2002 f250 that had a 8" fabtech kit sold that and now have a 2005 f350 Harley that has the radius arms and coil springs and I have realized that I hate them I have a 1 ton that rides like a Cadillac not a truck does anyone have any suggestions or have done this. I am looking to convert it over to leaf springs and it has a skyjacker 6" so the leafs would need to match I have a place that can make me leaf packs but as far as everything else to do the conversion I would need. Suggestions please!
holy chit your the first person I have read about who wants a worse ride and a loss of turning radius
not to mention swapping for an older front axle
just by some stiff arse or dual shocks that aren't valved for duals and whamo
crappy ride just like you wanted with less work and you won't be butchering your truck
I do like the crappy ride I was used to my 16 pack leafs with no sway bar doing 80 on and off the highway with the truck perfectly level were this new truck I feel like I'm in a f'in bouncy castle kids play in
Throw a multi shock set up on the truck. More of the wrong shock worse the ride. Or better depending on how you look at it. How about some f550 springs?
stock height and installed height will be different, the 450 coil wont collapse as much. think of it a plow package, stiffer coil means less give.
