Leaf spring ID help
So I am am looking doing a front and rear springs for a v/b code upgrade on my 2005 Excursion.
I have been able to get some almost brand new v-codes for the fronts and have come across rear springs but don't know what their spring code is from the numbers. I know we could look at the label on the donor truck but that is no longer available. They are from a 2004 F250 Here is a pic - I am hoping someone had the same numbers to help verify the spring code. I know its almost an impossible task but hoping to get lucky and someone has the same numbers to verify. Last edited by GoldenGun; 02-09-2013 at 08:48 PM. Reason: add info |

#'s usually won't help..those are not part #'s..but those springs look correct.
If we can help let us know. Cary |

So they like B codes with the auxilary spring on top. Correct?
If I remove the auxilary spring and block, you will have standard B code rear springs. Correct? Any what to tell if they are B codes by measuring? The see the possibilities are ?? 1. A-code springs 2. B-code springs 3. C-code springs 4. ?-code springs Questions... 1. Did A-code springs from an F250 in 2004 come with the top overload leaf that is in the picture? 2. Did an F250 in 2004 come with a C-code spring? I just want to make sure that I get B codes for the rear of my Excursion and any help would be appreciated. As you can imagine I do not what to buy something that I can't use. GoldenGun |
