Shocks are past due, and looking for Bilstein

I have a 2.5 level kit on my 04 250. I was a wise man a few years ago when I had a shock issue and purchased a pair for $18 for the front. I am scared I'm giving my son shaken baby syndrome now. I am tired of the abuse that I get just running to the store. Where is the best place to get Bilsteins, and what part numbers? I have searched the web with a lot of leads to nowhere. The front is leveled, and the rear has not been touched at all. 234,ooo miles and still has the original shocks. Absolutely has to be Bilstein shocks. I take good care of everything else and have neglected the shocks so want to do it right.

Bilsteins ride a bit rough for most people it seems, though they are really good shocks. If you want a smooth riding shock, I suggest going with ICON. You will pay more for them, but your kidneys will love you for it.

Hmmm... Your numbers seem a little fishy... You would have to sell 10000000000000000000000000000000000 shocks and have 1 person not like them...

Oh, you're in Nevada... Nevermind.

My truck came with bilsteins, they are stiff, especially for long road trips. What exact model and number icons are you referring to? I'd like to swap out the bilsteins with something that my kidneys will love lol like you said

Just how long do shocks typically last? I still have the original RS 5000's on my truck with 80,000 miles.
