8" lift on my 2000 7.3l
I just got done rebuilding this truck,I am new to lifting a vehicle,I have lowered cars and everything but new to lifting. I'm trying to make this into a fun off road truck,i'm looking at a procomp 8" lift. What all would I need to replace, and should I run off road diesel if im strickly using it as an off road toy or can i still get in trouble with the authorities?

if is not a registered vehicle for street use you will be fine, but if you ever do ( or someone else) and get checked, traces of the dye will show.
for the lift, new springs ....front and rear, dropped pitman arm /with matched dropped track bar bracket. adjustable track bar, shocks, drop carrier bearing kit, and more than likely, lengthened or new drive shafts, front sway bar links.... i recommend for a great ride and very well put together SYSTEM, ( not kit) you look into ICON ! |
