Thumbs down 4 WHEEL PARTS= SCAMMERS

thought i would post about my recent experience with 4 wheel parts.called Tyler, ext#5486 to discuss a new set of tires and wheels for my truck. We agreed on a price for the package. Tyler said he would need to ok this with his manager and asked if he could call me back in a few, O.K no problem and he does in just a few minutes, says that as long as i don't mind waiting a few weeks it's a deal.I agree and give him all of my info. Done deal right? the next afternoon Tyler calls and informs me that they can't sell me that tire and wheel package for the agreed price, even though the money has already been debited from my account. So I continue on through several managers and have no luck, they're all wanting to start renegotiation $400 higher than the agreed price. I calmly asked for a refund, which I will recieve in 3-5 days and will never deal with 4wheel parts again.( also found the package $120.00 cheaper elsewhere) tiresdelivered.com:fawkdance:

If I remember correctly, by law if the sale price was aggreed upon and the sale transaction was completed. Which in your case it was. Sorry 4wheeldrive parts. You have to ship out my stuff and take bite. Because the sale was completed. How ever I would have just took the refund and went somewhere else like you did.

My buddy just ordered 4 Nitto Terra's and 4 KMC Rockstar rims from them. They arrived a week later than they told him they would. So he gets them, comes over to my garage to install(because my garage is heated), we jack up his truck, take off his stock wheels, and realize they shorted him 8 lug nuts. So we put 6 on each wheel and he drove home pissed off. I'm not ordering from them either.

wow this is too bad to hear... I have done a ton of business with 4wheelparts and always had great success. Your situation sounds like a crappy one to be in, too bad its gotta be that way. My experience with 4wheelparts has been really good, and their tech support has been great for me. Too bad they are getting a bad name for themselves.
