Considering the hundreds of thousands of customers 4WP has served over the last 3 years and only 15 complaints.Less than 1%.
You would be surprised how many guys think they have what it takes to work the counter at a 4wp store. You guys might think its easy but it isn't. To build a truck correctly, on time, at the priced discussed 100% of the time is the goal. You get new guys in there that have retail experience or have worked at a competitor before or has a decent mechanical background and then you send them for training. They come back all excited and it takes a little while for them to get it all straight. Some guys never do and its those guys that make everyone else look bad.Unfortunately it takes a major F-up to catch them and deal with the problem, but by then you already have a dissatisfied customer.
I'm not here to say you didn't get treated bad and it does happen, but it is the exception.
There is no company policy on screwing people and in fact the CEO Greg Adler is very committed to customer satisfaction.I have seen him go out of his way to make thing right with a customer. Feel free to send him an e-mail and let him know how you feel.

I know in your case the damage is done and your mind cannot be changed. I don't think that taking the money and leaving this thread open is the right thing to do. If you feel comfortable doing that so be it.
I would really like to hear your whole story off line. I am sure there is something more to it. send me an e-mail at

As to the credit card issue, You would never want to ship a product and then run a card. You know how many CC's get declined everyday. For a smaller company I can see it but not for a company that processes thousands of transactions a day. You get the funds and then ship to the goods.Very standard in retail.
