Is your truck lifted?

Have you serviced the power steering fluid to see if that helps?

I would say that if your having alot of problems with your steering. Like you described then your powersteering pump is most likely going bad or is bad. Replace the pump and your problems will be gone. Pump costs around 80 bucks if you have a 99-02 7.3L You will also need a power steering pump pulley puller. The whole job takes about 4-6 hours.

2004 6.0 destroyed by contaminated fuel

2002 7.3L burnt
