lift install by urself???

I ordered the skyjacker kit with 2.5" front coils with a rear add-a-leafs
Anyone installed these themselves. Shows up tomorrow, debating on whether or not to install it myself or pay $100 to have it put on. Didn't know if this took special tools, or more than 1-2 people to do. I got the time tomorrow, so if its doable I wanna throw it on.

Lift

I just did front leafs by myself for the most part in the driveway with no air tools and a jack. I put coils in my dodge and it was not bad at all. If i remember correctly i unbolted shocks, remove sway bar end links and let the axle drop until the springs slide out. Just watch the brake lines incase you have to disconnect them. The rear add a leafs will probably be the most time consuming. Id go for it. If you lived closer we could get r did.

Doug

its an 05 f250 CC SB

the kit is literally front coils, and a rear leaf.
Just not real sure what tools I'm gonna need, floor jacks, lift,.....and so on. If its an easy 3-5 hour job its game on tomorrow. If not, I'll wait and get it installed.

you could do it yourself, me and my buddy did ours in my shop, with a lift and air tools in under 2 hours, i bet if you did it without all that it would only take 4-5 hours. Go for it, but then again a hundred bucks ant bad.

Eaze, be sure to post up some pics when you're done. I've got the same truck basically and would love to see what it looks like with the lift.

Good luck!!!

I know me and my dad did mine in the drive way with a couple jacks and an air gun in like 2 hours. Only difference I have rear blocks not add a leafs.
