Torque specs needed for rear susp
Howdy everyone -
I'm getting ready to install an R4 Tech suspension on the rear of my 2006 F250 and the instructions are somewhat... lacking. The instructions include torque specs for the brackets associated with the kit, but some of the other 'stock' components. Does anyone know what I should be torquing the bolts for the rear spring eye and shackle to? What about the u-bolts? |

I had the same issue when i installed my Deavers on my 2012, the torque specs are all over the place even from the Ford dealers. 5/8 u-bolts are from 129-157 ft. lbs., front leaf bolt to the frame 200 ft. lbs., shackle bolt to frame and shackle to leaf both 186 ft. lbs.
These were not the only numbers that i found but were common so i went with them. The u-bolt specs. were direct from Deaver. |
