Lift swap cost?
My brother just bought a 2002 F-350 and it has what looks like a 6" lift springs on all 4 corners and a 3-3.5" shackle/hanger lift on the front and block on the rear. It has 395/70/16 tires on it right now.
He tows a lot of trailers and doesn't want the truck to be as high as it is. He wants to remove the shackle/hanger kit and rear block so that he just has a 6" lift on the truck and go to 35" tires. I just bought some 37x13.50x22 Toyo M/T with 22" wheels that I want to put on my truck, but I don't want them to rub. My question is: How much should a shop charge to remove the shackle/hanger kit from his truck and install it on my truck? I'm guessing that we would need to also swap track bars and shocks as well because my truck currently has a 6" lift on it. Thanks for any help on this guys! |

Sorry for the confusing first post:
He's got 6" of spring lift + 3-3.5" of shackle/hanger lift = total of 9-9.5" of lift right now. I've got only 6" of spring lift on my truck, but we want to take the shackle/hangers off of his truck and put on my truck. |

I don't have a full-blown shop to do 2 trucks at once. I would guess that I would need 4 large floorjacks and 4 large jackstands to do both trucks at the same time?
