Tips on installing leveling shackles

Has anyone ever installed these type shackles

eBay Motors: 99-04 F250 F350 SUPERDUTY EXCURSION SHACKLE LIFT (item 120174289397 end time Oct-27-07 09:04:46 PDT)

I got a set from one of our members Midwestoffroad. and was wondering if anyone had any tips

Never Liked Them!! Cheap/Easy way out!! I used them as a teenager....................
They tend to have way too much movement when ya get on it and when ya apply yer brakes. They Move! On weak springs I hear they cause them to sag. But ya have a heavy truck with a stack of leafs! IMO,,,,,,not safe!! Hope this helps

you putting in the front? if so will realy throw off front end. talk to Raul@Stealth Automotive or shawn at Performance Oil Products. for a safe leveling kit, I was going to go with something like that but after realy researching it, found a better way, cost more but is lots better.

I knew it would if you were going for a full inch an a half or more. This one will give about 3/4 inch do you guys still think it is a bad idea

this is real similiar to the set i make and most of them give you 1 to 1 1/2 inhes of lift , instaled a bunch of them, with no problems , i sold a set to stump and he installed them on his excursion, you should get no driving problems , and doesnt change the ride at all
