stock OEM suspension question

Hey all ...

I am new to the Powerstroke. Just procured a very nice 110K mile, 2000 F250 XLT super duty with a 7.3 motor (2 wd). The shocks were original so I knew they were overdue for a change. I put on a set of Monroe Reflex shocks that said (light duty) but were listed as "application specific" so the part numbers matched what was listen in the catalog for that year, make, and model.

The truck rides better but at 70 mph, and a little wind ... it gyrates and bounces on the road. I can sense sway and though there is less bounce, I still have a little control concern.

Monroe allows you to change these out for a full refund if not happy so I am thinking about getting the "gas magnum" shocks that are specific to "heavy duty" trucks. I guess I should have got those to begin with.

What do you guys run in super duties? I have no intention of doing crazy stuff off road or any towing over 8K. I just want a good safe ride.
