I just put my lift on a few weeks ago, I didn't remove the bumper but did drop the crash bar out of the way. It's not as heavy as everyone thinks it is either...LOL. You will have to unbolt the bottom brackets on the A/C condensor to get the bolts out.

Make sure you have a torch to break the front leaf bolts loose, I was using a 3/4 impact and they wouldn't budge until we took the torch to them. Ford uses the best thread locker I have ever messed with on them things.

I say drop the bumper, it's much easier that way and yes only 6 bolts to do it. I have installed 3 procomp lifts in 3 different super duty's and the install all went GREAT! I got a procomp in my truck and love it.

Thanks Guys your right I took off the bumper and ac brackets and got it no problem Your also right about the tread locker that is good stuff now I have a question I got 6" of lift out of the 4" lift looks good but the break lines are looking short will this settle in? or did I get a 6" for the price of a 4"? The ride is much better than stock.

If you did get 6" you might consider longer brake lines!
