HIGH STEER KNUCKLE
crazy question here but is has this steering knuckle had something welded on it for the drag link. didn't think cast iron could be welded. but if you look closely at the pic it appears to be. the reason i ask is i neeed my drag link higher.

yeah don't weld to the knuckle, not a great idea. People do it all the time and most trucks that I have seen that have been welded are more show then go... LOL It isn't something I would trust driving down the freeway.
It is too bad that nobody has made a casting for a high steer knuckle for the newer trucks.... |

That's what I thought. Next question. Has anyone machined the top the drilled and tapped it?
