How much travel are you guys getting on the Ford compared to the Dodge kits.

Thanks 76. Are you having any issues with the tires rubbing any through out full cycle of the suspension ? With the research Ive done I'm pretty sure my setup will not rub turned at full bump. I'm just curious as to what everybody is running

You asked for it....
Your wheel specs are perfect. With 37" tires, you need 5.5" of backspacing on a 9" wide wheel. Sage ran the stockers and rubbed the radius arm but his walkers don't rub at all! As far as travel, we do not like quantifying it with numerical values. Everyone knows that these are huge straight axle trucks that will never have a ton of travel. It's how we tune the travel that matters. I'm sure 76 Hauler will vouch for the fact that our kits will outrun trucks with double the travel and generic shock valving! On the pintop kit, we redesign the buggy shock from the inside out to work for these diesel rigs. First, Sage reengineered the piston to to flow enough to meet the demands of these trucks, then custom tunes the valving in a custom length body with a pintop to bolt directly into the stock bucket. We get more travel out of the ford 4.5 than we do out of the dodge 3" given the stock radius arm design. The dodge 6" kits have a tad more travel than our Ford kits but we're talking .5"-1" Methods: ![]() ![]() Stock: ![]() ![]() ![]() XD: ![]() ![]() Walkers: ![]() ![]() ![]()

yep OC said it best, it's all in the valveing!! Before I stepped up to a fullsize, I had a 2006 Tacoma TRD 4x4 with 2.5 kings all around, 33' BFG's. My SD would spank that truck, and then tow it home!! I do rub my radius arms at full lock, but I'm ruinnin stockers. You should be fine w/ the Walkers.
