How Tell Difference between 6" & 8" lift??

May seem stupid but bought my truck with the fabtech lift already installed. Guy I bought it from said it was an 8" and I didn't think it was, figured it was just a 6", since he was the second owner. But now I need to pick up some new shocks and front coil springs for it and I need to be 100% on the size of the lift and honestly I don't know how to tell. Any measurement that can be made somewhere to tell?

Lookin like a 8". Give me measurements of all 4 corners, bottom of fender to top of tire. Then I will give you my measurements.

Got 12 5/8" from top of tire to bottom of fender flare for the rear and 13 5/8 front

Met with a guy today with an 04 f350 to sell some tires and his looked the same size as mine, my hood was a little higher than his, he thought I had an 8".
I measured the blocks in the rear and all of them together (factory and lift blocks) added up to be just at 8"

Looks like you got an 8", sorry I forgot about the thread!

My front measures 13 1/2 roughly and rear is roughly 13.

The fabtech coils have a part number on them. You can call them up and they will give you the info. I agree looks like an 8" kit.

I agree, You def. have an 8" lift.

thanks guys, called fabtech, got the part number. Only $216 for the pair.
Looks like i need to change my sig.
Heres another question tho, if I change out the front shocks with something different, preferably something with a remote resi, can I leave the rears or will the different rates be bad? Basically should i change all 4 shocks?

You can definitely just changes the fronts out.
