Steering noise
2012 f250 with skyjacker 6" 4-link. Dual fox stabilizers. Truck has 9k miles lift has been on about 1500 miles. The last week truck has been making noise when turning. Also right before a complete stop it will make noise everynow and then. Over the last few days there is a little more noise and a pop when going from right turn back to straight. Anybody had this?

Also, when I have the two front tires jacked up off the ground there is no noise...I know that there is not much resistants with them free in the air, but I figured it might cancel out some suggestions.

So we have a "pop noise when the trucks frontt suspension is under a load?
Lift kit was installed recently. In that case I would go over the track bar and bracket torque specs. As well the draglink and tierod for fun. I'm guessing something came loose? I had a noise about 5k after install and it was a loose trac bar. It made popping noises 50/100 of the time. |

I could be wrong, when I had a pop my track bar bolt was around 250. It was tight to touch but you never know.

It is recommended by pretty much every suspension manufacturer that you re-torque everything at around 500 miles. Do you know if that was done?

Yeah I installed and did re-tourqe. I go a chance to get under it over the weekend and went around all the bolts. Ended up that the passenger side sway bar bracket was a little loose and also the passenger side steering stabilizer bracket was a little loose. Tightened those and it went away. Thanks everyone for your input and advice.
