NEED HELP
i have just purchased a 2004 f250 fx4 and i really love it! been a ford guy all my life. my question is that i need to lift my truck to make it perfect. i want to fit 35s but i dont want to buy a lift kit. i work at a machine shop and i have access to radials and mech. machines. i was wondering if anyone knows the specs for a leveling kit or specs for spacers and blocks. i got all the metal i want to use and i would love a project. how much of a lift do i need to fit 35s without rubbing?

You will probably need at least 2 inches ... maybe 2.5 inches. Rubbing is more likely on the leaf springs, depending on the wheels used. This is mine leveled with new 2.5 inch springs ... the tires barely touch the leafs at full lock (stock 16x7 wheels with 35x12.50)
