Shock question

I was looking at duel front shock set up since I only have the factory single now. Would any of the kits work or does an pro comp kit only work with pro comps shocks or ect. Also I looked at my fromt shocks and read the number on them and they are only made for 4-6" shocks and their on my 8 inch lift. So I need to get some new shocks anyways. I want some that have the external resiovor but having problems finding some for my lift height. Any help is appreciated!

you probably wont see an advertised shock to those specs.....not from bilstein or the likes, they usually are custom fit and go by overall extension length and compressed length. pull your shocks off, and cycle the suspension, full droop , full compress. what are your measurements ????
