So I tried to order F350 blocks and u-bolts for my 2004 F250 (SuperCrew SRW long bed, 172" wheelbase, 4WD, already has OEM auxiliary springs in the rear) before I stumbled across the part numbers here. Nonetheless, I thought the descriptions were specific enough that there couldn't be a mistake.
Here's what I ordered:
- 2004 - Ford - F-350 SUPER DUTY: rear suspension, suspension components, spacer 4WD, 156, 158, 172 WB Left
- 2004 - Ford - F-350 SUPER DUTY: rear suspension, suspension components, spacer 4WD, 156, 158, 172 WB Right
- 2004 - Ford - F-350 SUPER DUTY: rear suspension, suspension components, u-bolt 4WD, with T&C axles.
The only thing I was unsure of was "T&C axles", but everything else listed was for a Dana. Of course, I couldn't provide a vin to the dealer because I don't actually own an F350. Here's what they sent me:
- Two 2C3Z-5598-PA blocks
- Four N811667-S436 u-bolts
Unfortunately, these look exactly like what I have (2" blocks and the same u-bolt length). Before I return them and try to avoid eating a re-stocking fee and shipping costs, can anybody confirm that (some) 2004 F350s might have actually come with 2" blocks and I just screwed up by not specifying a part number? In other words, is there a reasonable case that the parts I got match the text descriptions of the parts I ordered?
Thank you,
Ben
