Track Bar Removal Question......
Hello all. I am in the process of modifying my track bar. I am adding a heim joint at the bracket end to locate the front axle under center in the front. Does anyone know if its possible and/or safe to remove the complete track bar with the truck on the ground in my driveway? I need to remove it and take it to work to add the heim joint. I am under the impression that as long as the truck is not moved with the track bar off, all will be ok. Tell me if I am wrong here. Thanks.

Yes, it will be fine. The truck will hardly move with it removed.

Just a FYI but a Helm will transfer noise to the cab...plus no reason to use them...
