Good deal on Rancho shocks right now
Hey there everyone. I posted this over in the 7.3L Forum, but I figured I'd pass this information along to everyone else because the deal will work for all year trucks, just change the shock part numbers to ones that will fit your truck. Anyways, here is the deal and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
"It was Rancho's Shock and Awe promotion they have going on right now: Rancho Suspension: RANCHO® SHOCK & AWE PROMOTION If you buy one of the listed lift kits and 4 RS9000XL shocks you get a $500 rebate. So what I did was find the cheapest lift kit I could, which wasn't even for my truck, and then buy the shocks to fit my truck. Here is what I bought: Lift Kit: $228.77 Amazon.com: Rancho RS6444 Suspension System: Automotive Front Shocks: $85.75/ea Amazon.com: Rancho RS999050 RS9000XL Series Shock: Automotive Rear Shocks: $102.69/ea Amazon.com: Rancho RS999045 RS9000XL Series Shock: Automotive My total was $613.39 shipped to my door. So, after the $500 rebate, I will have only paid $113.39 for a full set of RS9000XL shocks for my truck. Also, from what I understand, these shocks carry a lifetime warranty through Rancho. I'll most likely try to sell the lift on craigslist as well. So, I may actually make money in the end. Anyone looking for some shocks right now should really look into doing this." |

I'm currently waiting on my rebate card now. I'll update when I get it. |

Rancho only makes lift kits for 08 and newer f250s so i ordered the same as the OP. The prices on amazon went up since then.

Just a quick update: I called this morning about the status of my rebate and they told me they have received it, but it is still in processing.

Those lift kits you have to buy the springs separately, I wonder if they will give you crap because you didn't by the springs with the lift.

I thought the same thing at first, but the lift kit I ordered was the first part number listed on their rebate form and it doesn't specify that you have to order springs with it, just the kit. I should know in a couple more weeks when I get my rebate card.
