steering gear box ratios...02 vs 08

Anyone know for sure if the ratio's in an 02 box and an 08 box are the same or not?

Or if an 08 box will fit in the 02 location? I am going to replace my steering box soon, and would like to match up with my 08 axle.

Yes. That is a possible route. But is the 08 and 02 box the same? Different ratio? Will the 08 box fit an 02 frame?

Supposedly different mounts. Dono for sure though.

I don't think they are the same. Maybe someone else will chime in. I want to say I read somewhere that the boxes on 05 & up are different from 99-04.
