worth replacing stock shocks 2007 model?

Hello, I am in the process of taking my 6" lift off and going back to stock. Im still debating on whether to put the 1.5" leveling kit in or not. It kind of happened real fast so I had no time to do any research or order any parts. I am wondering if it would be worth the money to upgrade the shocks? I dont have time to order any so it would just be what I could get at the local parts store (oreillys, auto zone, etc). The shocks that are going on it were on a harley edition 2006 with only 8k miles on them. I know the FX4s came with ranchos (or at least I thought they did), and Im not sure what these are. They are black. They are practically new since they only have 8k on them, just didnt know if it would be worth the grip to buy a set of say monroes or ranchos etc.

i put the harleys on and if you dont like it order something better but i doubt any shock you pick up at autozone will be better

yea thats what I was thinking. I just figured if the stock ones were super crap, I could go ahead and swap them when it was all apart and save time/money. It will be hard to judge it since Im going from a 6" lift to stock. I know it will ride different, or at least I would think it would.

Why are you getting rid of the 6" lift? What kind was it?
