Need help on add a leaf install 2005 f350

Hello everyone, thanks for coming in here, and any input will be greatly appreciated.

Ok so I installed an add a leaf on my 2005 f350 srw long bed, the install was smooth just very time consuming, due to my I expierence, after I finished up and tighten everything back, I noticed that In between the add a leaf, (which I installed under the first 4 springs but on top of the bottom one) and the 4th spring there is a gap in the middle, now I'm no expert but I have been googling pictures of installed add a leafs/helper leafs, and they all sit flush or near flush. What did I do wrong? Or is this normal, I've only done one side, and it's a huge difference in lift, which I like!

The part I used was the rough country 6111 add a leaf/helper leaf, I also have a block and new u bolts if that matters.

I can text or email a pic of this gap but can not post one because I am using my cellphone, and my lap top is smashed.
